About
Dine on a Dime Healthy Living classes are for individuals and families
with food insecurities, are at risk for chronic diseases, living in food desserts and/or currently residing in transitional or sober living
housing.

Dine on a Dime has been successfully implemented through sponsorship from the University of Cincinnati and grant funding from the United Way.
healthy cooking classes
Dine on a Dime utilizes healthy menus and one pot cooking that allows
families to maximize their resources, save time and money and provide a
well balanced meal according to Federal Health guidelines. Classes are
taught by a licensed dietitian or chef with ServSafe Manager Certification
and container gardening is taught by a horticulturist.

Participants take home a crock pot or George
Foreman grill (if used in the demonstration), gift card, menus and community resources, plus all the ingredients required to make
the meals illustrated.
